What is the Political Courage Test?

Missouri Congressional Election 2022 Political Courage Test

Unknown Position Do you generally support pro-choice or pro-life legislation?
Its a womans body so thats personal but there is also the baby. Adoption should be made more accessible and affordable. There should be resources available for family planning. Remember, spermicide fertilizes eggs so men should be mindful of that. It takes two. Counseling available as well. Im a mother that delivered a stillborn baby at 20 weeks gestation. He was a baby boy. Not a clump of tissue.
No In order to balance the budget, do you support an income tax increase on any tax bracket?
Yes Do you support expanding federal funding to support entitlement programs such as Social Security and Medicare?
Yes, Social Security and Medicare support should be expanded. Why take care of other countries and neglect home ( the American Citizens). Thats not ethical. Its a slap in the face so to speak. Charity begins at home.
Yes Do you support the regulation of indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions?
Just do what is right and fair. Stop the corruption.
No Do you support the protection of government officials, including law enforcement officers, from personal liability in civil lawsuits concerning alleged misconduct?
No. If someone lacks character and integrity they shouldnt get a slap on the wrist or things swept under the rug. Hold them accountable, they are not above the law. Thats why people keep doing unethical/hateful things because they know they can get away with it. Its time out for that. Im calling on whistleblowers to cry loud and spare not. Your title or position doesnt give you the right to break laws. They can be sued just like anyone else. A dose of act right may help them.
No Do you support increasing defense spending?
No. Enough has been spent. I support increasing funding to help American Citizens have to resources they need to live a sustainable way of life.
Yes Do you support providing financial relief to businesses AND/OR corporations negatively impacted by the state of national emergency for COVID-19?
Yes Do you support federal spending as a means of promoting economic growth?
Yes Do you support lowering corporate taxes as a means of promoting economic growth?
I support what is best for American people. Lets talk about it.
Yes Do you support requiring states to adopt federal education standards?
Rural, City, and Suburban areas should have the best quality education, and equal. Technology is needed as well. In a clean building with clean air and lunch. A mind is a terrible thing to waste.
Yes Do you support government funding for the development of renewable energy (e.g. solar, wind, geo-thermal)?
No Do you support the federal regulation of greenhouse gas emissions?
Bipartisanship is needed and work it out on behalf of the constituents and include them in the planning process.
Yes Do you generally support gun-control legislation?
Background checks are needed for the well safety and being of citizens. AR-15s should be sold to every and anybody. Too many innocent lives are being taken by people with mental illness and just full of hate. These heinous hate crimes must end. A background check wont hurt anyone that has the right motives. I support the second amendment but we all should be responsible and look out for one another.
Yes Do you support requiring businesses to provide paid medical leave during public health crises, such as COVID-19?
No Do you support repealing the 2010 Affordable Care Act ("Obamacare")?
I support Medicare for all, universal healthcare and whoever wants to keep their private insurance can do so. Its their choice.
No Do you support the construction of a wall along the Mexican border?
No Do you support requiring immigrants who are unlawfully present to return to their country of origin before they are eligible for citizenship?
Those that have been in the USA for a long time should be able to get assistance to get full citizenship. I dont agree with families being torn apart. I believe we should take care of American citizens that are struggling and homeless before we start helping everyone else. Charity begins at home. After home is taken care of then we can assist others. Everything should be done in moderation after evaluation.
Yes Do you support reducing military intervention in Middle East conflicts?
Yes Should the United States use military force to prevent governments hostile to the U.S. from possessing a weapon of mass destruction (for example: nuclear, biological, chemical)?
The United States should sometimes mind our own business and take care of home. Lets talk about inflation and lowering gas and food prices.
Yes Do you generally support removing barriers to international trade (for example: tariffs, quotas, etc.)?
Let?s support the USA first and foremost. Let?s talk about this.
Democracy- representation, participation, and emancipation. Healthcare is a human right. It should be a priority. There shouldn?t be barriers and restrictions in voting. No human left behind. That sums up everything for me. There is something for everyone and we as a country need to grow up and become politically mature. Everyone might not like one another or agree on everything but we have to learn how to respect one another and get along so we can function properly in this country and thrive together. Stop the hate, biased, bigotry, filibuster mess. I?m so sick of all of it.
